First Visit

Your first visit as a new patient will act as an introduction to the Marvin Village Dentistry family. We want you to relax and take in the full experience, with a guided tour of the office with one of our friendly team members. You will get to see all our amenities, which include a children's play area, internet and refreshments bars, and our comfortable treatment suites. During the visit, we will answer all your questions, while also taking the time to get to know all about you and your family.

While the office at Marvin Village Dentistry is impressive on its own, we want you to experience the real heart of our practice – the people who will support and treat you and your family. You will immediately get a sense of how welcoming, friendly and professional each of our team is, including our resident Doctor, Ginger Walford.

During Your Appointment

Your first appointment will involve a comprehensive exam, where Dr. Walford will take the time to get a full picture of your overall oral health. As your first indication of our commitment to serving your family, you can book a family block appointment which will give the team an opportunity to introduce themselves to the entire family.

Dr. Walford will take x-rays and your hygienist will measure your gums to determine cleaning requirements that are suitable for you. Once the initial examination is complete, we will take the time discuss your medical and dental history. We will also discuss any fears or concerns you have, including those of your children. The first appointment is essentially focused on evaluating the oral health of you and your family, so that we can tailor our service to your personal needs. When you leave the office you will have information on next visits, oral health and hygiene, and all the services that we can offer your family.
